Pulis expects Kitson success

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis remains confident that striker Dave Kitson will prove to be a success at the Britannia Stadium.

The 28-year-old frontman has yet to find the net for the Potters since his £5.5million summer arrival from Reading, but Pulis is fairly content with Kitson's overall contribution.

He told The Sentinel: "Obviously we are keen to him for score, but it's not the be all and end all with Dave Kitson.

"He has put a shift in for us in other areas of his game, linking the play and playing his part in our goal at Portsmouth. His time will come."

Weekend press reports had suggested that Kitson was already considering his future with the Premier League new boys, but Pulis is confident that the money spent will prove to be a wise investment.
