Pulis disappointed by draw
10 Dec 2007 - 09:08:37
Stoke City boss Tony Pulis felt his side should have taken more than a point from Sunday's goalless draw with Championship leaders Watford.
Watford's stand-in goalkeeper Richard Lee made a terrific 88th minute save from Ricardo Fuller to secure the visitors a hard-earned point.
Fuller was sent sprinting clear for the best chance of the game by Stoke substitute Jon Parkin, but Lee raced from his goal to narrow the angle and block his shot
"We are disappointed we didn't win because we had those chances," said Pulis.
"You would normally expect Ric to put them away, but he's having a little bit of a poor run in front of goal.
"But we've just played two teams who were in the Premiership last season and to take four points out of Sheffield United and Watford isn't bad."
