Stoke City striker Sammy Bangoura seems unlikely to play for the Potters again after failing to turn up for the weekend 2-2 draw at Barnsley.
The 24-year-old Guinea international had been late to return to pre-season training with City and had only just got himself back in the first-team frame.
However, Bangoura is again on the missing list, with boss Tony Pulis telling The Sentinel: "We don't know where he is.
"He didn't show up on Friday, then didn't show again before the game. It shows total disrespect to the football club.
"I was going to bring him into the squad and he would definitely have been on the bench.
"We could have done with him in the second half because the front two had worked hard and he might well have been thrown on."
