Pulis baffled by Sorensen talk

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has dismissed as 'nonsense' reports linking goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen with a transfer to Bayern Munich.

The 33-year-old former Denmark international is going nowhere according to Pulis, who is baffled as to where the stories have come from.

"Those reports are a load of nonsense as far as I'm concerned," he told The Sentinel.

"We're playing in the greatest league in the world and you'd have to ask why Thomas would want to move out of it at this stage.

"He's more than happy here as far as I'm aware. He had a great first season for us last year and I have to say how much I was impressed by his stature about the place.

"His experience and calibre were just what we needed as we stepped into the big time."
