Pulis: Potters must respond

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has urged his players to move on quickly form their 5-0 weekend thrashing at the hands of Manchester United. Pulis accepted that his side had been mauled by a rampant Red Devils outfit, but wants his squad to ensure they are back to their best for the visit of West Bromwich Albion next weekend. He told The Sentinel: "We have got to wash that away as quickly as we can. "It was the same at Manchester City when we got beat, but then we came back with a rousing win against Sunderland. "What we have got to do now is make sure we are right for next week, because it's a massive game against West Brom. They are the games we have got to go into and get everybody supporting us. "We've got to dust ourselves down and get ourselves going again. "We will look at this defeat, but not too deeply because we have played a side that once they sniff blood, they are a special team. "We have drawn with and beaten top-four teams, but against Liverpool and Arsenal we didn't concede an early goal."
