Potters to keep Diao

Promotion-chasing Stoke City are on the verge of extending Liverpool midfielder Salif Diao's loan spell at the Britannia Stadium until the end of the season.
The 29-year-old Senegal international has already made 17 appearances for the Potters this term since joining the club in October, and is deemed surplus to requirements at Anfield.
City boss Tony Pulis said after his side's victory at Burnley on Tuesday that lifted his team up to sixth in the Championship table: "Fingers crossed, Salif is our player now.
"I rang him earlier and got him to come to the dressing room before the game and you could see it gave everybody a lift.
"The lads have been badgering him for a couple of weeks to get him to come back and him walking in earlier probably gave us the momentum to go on and beat Burnley."
