Stoke City have signed on-loan Sunderland winger Liam Lawrence in a permanent £500,000 deal.
The 24-year-old has impressed on his two-month loan stay at the Britannia Stadium and has agreed a three-and-a-half year deal with the Potters.
"I'm delighted it's all done and dusted now and I can finally look forward to being a Stoke player," Lawrence told the club's official website.
"It began as a loan move where I could play some football and show what I can do. I'm really enjoying it and the team is doing really well."
Stoke chief executive Tony Scholes added: "Liam has played really well during his loan period and it was always our intention to make the move permanent.
"I hope he is the first of a few new faces arriving within the coming month."
