Potters pounce for Fuller

Jamaica international Ricardo Fuller has ended his short-lived stay at Southampton and signed a three-year deal with Stoke City.

The 26-year-old only moved to St Mary's from Portsmouth last summer, scoring nine goals in 33 appearances for the Saints.

He played for Hearts before making his name at Preston, netting 27 goals in just 58 League appearances for the club.

Pompey snapped him up in August 2004 but injuries restricted him to only 13 League starts in his one season at Fratton Park.
