Potters pair pen new deals
11 Jul 2007 - 11:14:37
Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is delighted that John Eustace and Russell Hoult have penned new one-year deals with the club.
Eustace has made 55 first-team appearances for the Potters since his arrival at the Britannia Stadium from Coventry City four years ago, while veteran keeper Hoult spent the last four months of the 2006-07 campaign with the club following his move from West Brom.
Pulis told the club's official website: "I'm very happy that both players have put pen to paper with us at the club.
"They're excellent professionals and are key members of the squad.
"Everyone knows how much I think of John, and I'm hoping he can come through pre-season unscathed and rediscover the form which made him a fan favourite a couple of years ago.
"Russell is also an extremely good keeper and he'll give Steve Simonsen some very stiff opposition for the number one spot."
