Potters go down loan route

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has revealed he intends to use the loan market to bolster his squad with players from other Premier League clubs.
The Potters have yet to make any significant moves in the transfer market since securing promotion to the top-flight.
But despite restrictions in the Premier League which limit clubs to only having two loan players on their books at any one time, Pulis intends to bolster his ranks by borrowing from other teams.
"We'll be looking at top clubs who won't see us as a threat," he told The Sentinel.
"There are different rules than we had to work with last year but, again, we'll try to use them to our advantage if we can."
The Potters have already been linked with a loan raid on Manchester United to sign goalkeeper Ben Foster.
The England international is expected to be allowed to leave Old Trafford on a temporary basis as he looks to regain his match-fitness following almost 12 months on the sidelines with knee ligament damage.
