Potters extend Bothroyd loan

Stoke City have extended Jay Bothroyd's loan stay at the Britannina Stadium until the end of the season.

The well-travelled former Arsenal youngster joined the Potters from Wolves last month and has made four appearances for Tony Pulis' side.

Bothroyd, who has yet to find the net for the Potters, would be available for the play-offs should Stoke fail to secure automatic promotion.

The 25-year-old's career has taken in seven different clubs including the Gunners, Italian side Perugia and Charlton Athletic.
