Stoke City's first-team coach Mark O'Connor is confident that the Premier League newcomers will sign a number of new players before the start of the season.
The Potters are reported to be close to agreeing a deal for Sunderland goalkeeper Marton Fulop and O'Connor says several other deals are in the offing.
He told the club's official website: "We may have been over in Austria training for the past week, but there has still been a lot happening on the transfer front.
"There will definitely be some new arrivals before the season kicks off in three weeks' time.
"This squad of players has got us where we are now and we mustn't forget that, but we still need to add more quality and more depth.
"There are a lot of things bubbling at the moment and hopefully one or two of them will drop for us in the next week."
