Martin makes Potters move

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis has added to his promotion-chasing squad by landing Manchester United's teenage winger Lee Martin on loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old has made one appearance for United - in the Carling Cup win against Barnet 15 months ago - before spending three months on loan at Rangers earlier this season.

He made ten appearances for the Ibrox-based side and was also loaned out to Royal Antwerp last year.

Meanwhile, defender Carl Hoefkens is in talks with FC Brugge about a return to Belgium and the club have completed the permanent signing of midfielder Salif Diao on a free transfer from Liverpool.
