Stoke City midfielder John Eustace is desperate for a loan move away from the Britannia Stadium to gain first-team action after a serious knee injury.
The 26-year-old was sidelined for 18 months by the problem, but is now back in contention and accepts that he will have to leave City for the time being.
He told The Sentinel: "The quicker I go out the quicker I come back and as long as my knee stays healthy then I should be fine.
"I am happy about going out on loan, as I know I need to get fit so that I can come back and play for Stoke.
"My fitness is coming on, but I need first-team games, as playing for the reserves is nothing like the real thing.
"It doesn't matter about the standard just as long as I am playing competitive games. I would have no problem dropping down a league."
