Livid Sorensen denies exit talk
18 Jan 2010 - 10:40:23
Stoke City goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen has angrily denied reports linking him with an imminent move to German giants Bayern Munich.
The 33-year-old Denmark international is under contract with the Potters until 2012 and insists that he is going nowhere, even if Stoke had been successful in their attempts to sign David James from Portsmouth.
Sorensen told The Sentinel: "The only thing I can say is I am fully committed to Stoke City. I am not going anywhere, I can guarantee that.
"I had two meetings with the manager last week and made it clear. I gave him my word that I wasn't going anywhere.
"Whatever the manager decides to do, I can't do anything about that situation. I have to respect whoever he brings in.
"But I am here to be first-choice and that is what I want to do. There is nothing more to that story.
"With all the rubbish that has been said, the Danish press has stitched me up big time. I think all the rumours that are still spreading are shocking.
"I think I am finished with talking to them, I am not going anywhere."
