Keeper shuns Bayern rumours

Stoke City goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen has dismissed speculation linking him with German giants Bayern Munich.

The 33-year-old Denmark international impressed in his first season with the Potters and says he is in no rush to move on.

Sorensen told The Sentinel: "I have seen what has been in the papers, but have heard nothing personally.

"There are always rumours in football. I had this sort of thing last summer and 90 per cent of the stories turned out not to be true.

"I am not worried because I am really happy at Stoke and we have just had a great season.

"I don't know if these stories are true or not, but I suppose it is better than being linked with a team in League Two.

"But this is an important season for me at Stoke. I am enjoying my break, but am looking forward to getting back in training. I am 100 per cent focused on Stoke City."
