Kamaras Take On Huth Red Card
Published: 06 Feb 2012 - 14:32:14
There is a massive divide in between what the Mackems saw and what Stokies saw on Saturday at the Brit, yes I do mean the Huth sending off.
First and foremost, it was not a sending off offence in my opinion, and I also think the reaction of the Sunderland players left something to be desired, they were like little kids complaining and crying to teacher.
Huth never stood a chance.
After seeing it on the TV, I am still convinced that a red should not have been shown and Stoke are right to appeal against such an unjust decision by the clown in charge of the game.
But an ex-manager of Stoke who now works as a presenter/pundit/reporter/singer/teaboy for Sky Sports reckons a little different.
Chris Kamara says: “The one thing the ref didn't do was take into account the weather conditions on the day. Huth had to go for the ball - Tony Pulis would always want him to go and win it - and it was unfortunate that his momentum took him into David Meyler.
“From the referee's angle it looked really nasty, but on another given day there might be a different outcome. However, I understand why the ref gave it.”
And that folks, could be the reason why Chris is not a manager today, his eyesight.
