Faye calls for final push

Abdoulaye Faye hopes Stoke can clinch their Premier League survival with a victory over struggling Hull City. The Potters have collected 39 points already this season but have suffered 1-0 defeats to Fulham and West Ham in their last two games. It remains highly unlikely that they will be relegated but Faye has been concerned by a lack of energy in recent outings. "The Premiership is hard, very hard," the defender told Why Delilah. "Every game you need to work hard to get a result and every week we work hard in training. I think everybody is tired and that is why we have two days off." Faye is delighted that Stoke have managed to defy the odds this season but has urged his team-mates to finish the job and see off Hull on Saturday. "Everybody in the country did not believe Stoke could stay in the Premier League, but we worked very hard to show we can. Now I think everybody believes we can," he said. Reflecting on the loss to West Ham, Faye added: "I think it was our game to win, but it is OK because we are still in a good position in the league because everybody else lost. "We want just one more win and I want to do it at Hull. "There are still three games left. I am not worrying. I just want to do it at Hull. I will be ready."
