If you didn't think that the FA are clueless, you must do now after Robert Huth's appeal against a red card was dismissed.

It’s not a decision that surprises me actually, the FA wouldn’t want to be seen to do Stoke any favours, even though rescinding the card would have been the right thing to do.

The Potters needed to get the decision overturned as they can ill afford to be without such a valuable member of the squad for three games, especially as he did nothing wrong.

But the FA's Independent Regulatory Commission dismissed the appeal after viewing the evidence that Stoke City presented on the German’s behalf.
