City starlet joins Stafford

Stoke City's teenage defender Sean Robinson has joined Conference side Stafford Rangers on a short-term loan.

The 18-year-old defender made his debut for Phil Robinson's side in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Rushden & Diamonds.

Robinson is a regular in City's Academy side and the reserves but is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Championship outfit.

The second-year apprentice is expected to start for Stafford in Tuesday's Conference clash with Northwich Victoria after impressing at the weekend.
