Stoke City have wrapped up the signing of West Ham United winger Matthew Etherington for an undisclosed fee on a three-and-a-half-year contract.

A happy Potters boss Tony Pulis told the club's official website: "I am absolutely delighted to have managed to sign Matthew.
"He is someone I have had my eye on for a very long time and he has been long on my radar. He will bring something totally different to the squad.
"We have worked and worked on the deal and I am absolutely over the moon that it has managed to drop for us and we have brought him here.
"He is an out and out winger, he possesses great pace and technical ability, while he will also work extremely hard for the team."
City chief executive Tony Scholes added: "We are committed to adding to the squad in advance of the second half of our first season in the Premier League.
"Matthew is a proven Premier League player who will add experience and quality to the squad."
Etherington started his career with Peterborough United, before securing a move to Tottenham Hotspur in December 1999.
