Begovic ready to fight for place

Stoke goalkeeper Asmir Begovic said he is ready to challenge Thomas Sorensen for a first-team spot next season.Begovic played in the final four matches of last term while Sorensen recovered from a dislocated elbow. He told BBC Radio Stoke: "We both want to play and we'll see what happens, but my intentions are obviously to play.
