Signed from Everton to stoke city in the summer of 2004 and is a former under-21 international star. His debut came in 1996 in a 3-1 win against the Potters, when he was a trainee at Tranmere. In 2004/2005 he was named the players player of the season after a solid effort battling Ed De Goey for the first team spot.
