Sunday cup clash angers Pulis

Stoke boss Tony Pulis is unhappy that his side's FA Cup fourth-round tie against Wolves has been scheduled for Sunday. The Potters' trip to Molineux is swiftly followed by two Barclays Premier League fixtures, against Liverpool on February 2 and then Sunderland on February 5. The decision to move the cup tie from Saturday - made by police because Birmingham and Aston Villa are both at home that afternoon - to the following day has riled Pulis. He told the Sentinel: "If the Wolves game had to be changed, I would have it on the Friday night, but apparently that has been pooh-poohed. "Playing on the Friday would have given us more time to prepare for a tough game at Liverpool. What makes it worse is that Liverpool and Sunderland are out of the cup, so are putting their feet up over the weekend." He added: "Everybody is saying we should take the FA Cup seriously, then they go and do this."
