Stoke's Matthew Etherington has cracked rib for Europa League

Stoke's Matthew Etherington should be fit to face Hajduk Split in the Europa League despite cracking a rib in the first leg.[LNB]He sustained the injury in a collision and missed his side's friendly draw with Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.[LNB]But Potters boss Tony Pulis expects the 29-year-old to recover in time for the club's trip to Croatia.[LNB] Knock; Matthew Etherington cracked a rib as Stoke beat Hajduk Split[LNB]'He's got a little crack, that's all, after running into someone in the first game,' Pulis confirmed. 'It was nothing malicious and it's not a bad injury.[LNB]'He was left out at Sheffield as a precaution but trained OK yesterday.
