Stoke striker James Beattie still dreams of World Cup glory

Dreaming: James Beattie[LNB] England's forgotten man James Beattie is refusing to give up on his World Cup dream - and he intends to prove he is good enough by giving John Terry a working over today.[LNB] The Stoke striker, 31, last represented the Three Lions in the defeat by Denmark back in November 2003. [LNB]But Beattie said: 'It's not daunting playing against Terry. If you think it's daunting then maybe you are in the wrong job. It's something you look forward to and relish. [LNB]'I want to do well against him and if you're doing well for you club, it doesn't matter who you are playing for - you can get into the England squad. I'm not giving up hope.'
