[LNB]Strikes from Ben Davies and Kevin Smith gave Notts County a shock 2-1 victory over Championship side Watford. The League One side were outclassed in the first half but Davies's drive from 30 yards followed by Smith's header sent Notts County into the third round for the first time in four years.[LNB]In the other shock of the round, Northampton came from behind on three occasions before dumping Championship Reading out of the Carling Cup following a penalty shoot-out at the Madejski Stadium. [LNB]Reading captain Matt Mills bagged a brace either side of a Hal Robson-Kanu strike, but his own goal in extra-time stoppage-time became Northampton's third equaliser after goals from Andy Holt and Kevin Thornton in the original 90 minutes.
