Stoke boss Tony Pulis is expected to make a number of adjustments to his first XI for Tuesday's FA Cup third-round replay against Championship outfit Crystal Palace at the Britannia Stadium.

Goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen, a regular for the Potters in cup competitions, looks set to come in for Asmir Begovic once again. Striker Michael Owen will be hoping to be back involved after starting the original tie - a 0-0 draw at Selhurst Park - but then missing out on a place in the squad for Saturday's 4-0 Premier League loss to Chelsea. Defender Marc Wilson and midfielder Rory Delap, who have been sidelined by a broken leg and hernia problem respectively, remain unavailable. Crystal Palace will be without midfielders Kagisho Dikgacoi and Owen Garvan when they head to the Potteries. Dikgacoi is on Africa Cup of Nations Cup with South Africa and Garvan is sidelined with a knee problem. Defenders Paddy McCarthy and Joel Ward are still missing with groin injuries. Manager Ian Holloway rested goalkeeper Julian Speroni in favour of Lewis Price in the first meeting between the sides and could do so again. Wilfried Zaha is expected to play amid growing speculation the winger is poised for a move to the Premier League this month. Manchester City loanee Alex Nimely is ineligible so youngsters Alex Wynter, Jason Banton, Quade Taylor and Kwesi Appiah are set to be named on the bench again.
