Contract rebel: Abdoulaye Faye

Tony Pulis wants contract rebel Abdoulaye Faye to snub Celtic and sign a new deal at Stoke.

The big Senegal stopper is out of contract in the summer and the Hoops want to pounce in January.

But Stoke boss Pulis insists talks on a new deal are ongoing and he is keen to keep the 32-year-old in his squad.

He said: 'We are still in discussions with Abby because he's a decent player.

'We've got Abby until the end of the season and things are happening behind the scenes, so there's no problem.'
