Stoke and Sunderland To Fight Over Fletcher?

16 July 2012 07:08
Wolves are looking to set up some sort of race and bidding war between Sunderland and Stoke City to get the signature of Steven Fletcher.

Many believe that Fletcher can now leave the club after Bjorn Bergmann Sigurdarson was signed from Lillestrom.

Wolves are dreaming about getting ten million for Fletcher saying that if Andy Carroll and Darren Bent can command the fees that they have, then Fletcher is well worth the ten million.

Both Sunderland and Stoke are alerted to the fact that Fletcher has hit 22 goals in 61 matches in the top flight and last season nodded in seven headers, just what Stoke could do with seeing as Walters appears to be lacking somewhat in the goals department.

This one is tipped to go all the way to the transfer deadline, and we all know how Tony Pulis loves that late purchase.
