Sorensen wants more action

Goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen has indicated that his Stoke City future could depend on assurances over first-team opportunities.[LNB] The Denmark international, who has been linked with a move to West Ham, asked for contract negotiations with the Britannia Stadium hierarchy earlier in June.[LNB]But in the second half of last season Sorensen was restricted to playing in the FA Cup for runners-up Stoke and appeared just once in the Premier League after the end of October.[LNB]Asmir Begovic was manager Tony Pulis' first choice and Sorensen is concerned that he may again have to settle for a place on the bench in the next campaign.[LNB]The 35-year-old is quoted as saying in The Sun: "I find it of the utmost importance to get more minutes of playing time next season."
