Sorensen eyes long Stoke stay
Thomas Sorensen has expressed his desire to remain with Stoke beyond the end of his current contract.
The Danish goalkeeper joined the Potters last summer after five years with Aston Villa and he has played a key role in their recent success.
Sorensen is tied to the club until 2011 but he would like to stay even longer if he is still playing well enough.
The 33-year-old feels ready to play on for a few more seasons and does not intend to return to his native Denmark before his retirement.
"My plans are to end my career abroad but that's a few years ahead of me," Sorensen told Ekstra Bladet in his homeland.
"I am 33 and my contract with Stoke ends in 2011. If everything goes as planned, I hope to stay for some more years."
