Sonko snubs Greek move

Former Stoke defender Ibrahima Sonko has rejected a move to Greek side PAOK as he is keen to continue playing in England.[LNB] Sonko is available on a free transfer after leaving Stoke earlier this summer and a number of clubs are thought to be keen on signing the 30-year-old.[LNB]PAOK are thought to have made a lucrative offer to lure Sonko to Greece as they look to bolster their squad ahead of next season's campaign in the Europa League.[LNB]However, Sonko has snubbed their overtures as he is keen to continue his career in England.[LNB]Sonko's agent, Gary Saunders, has confirmed the former Reading stopper is hoping to find himself a new club in England.[LNB]"Ibrahima had an offer from PAOK in Greece, but he has decided to reject it as he wants to stay in England," Saunders told skysports.com.[LNB]"It was a lucrative offer, but Ibrahima believes he has unfinished business in England.[LNB]"He believes he still has a lot to offer and we will see what offers come our way."
