Ipswich defender Ibrahima Sonko has called on the club to do all they can to keep his centre-half partner Danny Collins on board.[LNB] Collins joined Town on loan at the start of September after being left out of Stoke's 25-man Premier League squad.[LNB]He has settled quickly with the Championship club and has struck up a formidable partnership with Sonko at the heart of Paul Jewell's back four.[LNB]His loan agreement is only set to run until December, but it is hoped that a deal can be put in place to keep the 31-year-old at Portman Road past that point.[LNB]"I really hope Danny stays. He is a wonderful player and a wonderful team-mate," Sonko, who has also played alongside Collins at Stoke, told the Green'Un.[LNB]"We just understand each other. He has got his way of playing and I have mine, but it seems to be working.[LNB]"We talk a lot on the pitch. He is not scared of telling me what he thinks and he can be a bit aggressive. He loves to get stuck in and he doesn't like losing.[LNB]"I am a bit more peaceful and sometimes I need roughing up a bit."
