Pulis sweating on Fuller
// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Tony Pulis is sweating on the fitness of Ricardo Fuller for the weekend while Ian Holloway claims Jason Euell was racially abused.[LNB] The striker was influential in the Potters' 4-3 success in the Carling Cup third round at the Britannia Stadium as the Premier League side came from 2-0 down to snatch a last-gasp win.[LNB]The Jamaican forward came off the bench with the Seasiders 2-0 up but within just 16 minutes of his introduction the 29-year-old was firing Stoke into the lead.[LNB]Back came Blackpool through Ben Burgess before Andy Griffin won it for the hosts while Fuller was off the pitch receiving treatment to his groin. [LNB]"Sometimes you think its not your night, we were missing loads of chances," Pulis told Sky Sports News.[LNB]"Then we go 3-2 up then Rick (Ricardo Fuller) has to go off because he has hurt his groin which is a massive blow for us.[LNB]"Then they get the goal and 3-3 and extra time is the last thing we need. But we were still pushing forward with 10-men and Griffin gets the winning goal. [LNB]"We won't know (the extent of the injury) until tomorrow, knowing Rick if he is 90 per cent fit he will want to play against Manchester United so we will wait and see tomorrow."[LNB]Racist abusePulis also praised the performance of Blackpool and highlighted the role the Potters fans played in the comeback.[LNB]"In the first half Blackpool were 10 times better than what we were, they really played well," he added.[LNB]"To be fair to our players and our supporters again how they got behind the players at 2-0 down was absolutely fantastic."[LNB]Meanwhile Holloway pointed out that his player Euell was the subject of racist taunting from some sections of the Potters supporters.[LNB]"We do not want anything like that. Jason is a footballer - it should not matter the colour of his skin," he stated.[LNB]"It is disgusting. The stewards believed what Jason said and got him out. I have to thank them for that.[LNB]"People around the fellow should have said they were not putting up with what was said. It is wrong.[LNB]"I saw Jason's reaction and tried to calm him down. I thought these days were gone but maybe I am being naive."[LNB]
