Pulis pleased with point

Stoke boss Tony Pulis was delighted with his side's efforts in restricting Sunderland and picking up another away point in a goalless draw at the Stadium of Light. The Potters had the better of the chances, with former Black Cat Dean Whitehead twice going close, but the hosts had a strong penalty appeal for handball turned down after the break. Pulis said: "It was not the prettiest game in the world but it was a good point for us and I'm very pleased."
