Pulis looking down

Stoke boss Tony Pulis insists he is still not thinking beyond beating the drop in the Barclays Premier League this season. The Potters are eighth in the table with 20 points from 15 games after Saturday's 1-1 draw with Manchester City at the Britannia Stadium. That has prompted talk amongst fans of a push for Europe, but Pulis - who guided the Staffordshire outfit into the top flight in 2008 - says that for the time being, his sole focus remains ensuring that the club survives in the division for another year. "I've always said that it was a three-year plan coming into the Premier League," Pulis told BBC Radio Stoke. "If we maintain Premier League status for a third year, then we can really push on."
