Pulis issues rallying call

Tony Pulis has called on Stoke to reproduce the qualities they showed in their first two seasons in the Premier League as they look to get over their poor start to the current campaign. The Potters have lost all three of their league games so far and are second from bottom with only West Ham propping them up courtesy of their goal difference. Following the international break Stoke host Aston Villa before a crucial game with the Hammers at the Britannia Stadium and Pulis has urged his side to produce the characteristics which saw them establish themselves in the top flight. He told the club's official website: "It is that work ethic and togetherness which has got us where we are today after two successful seasons in the Premier League. "It will be that same work ethic which will be the key to us getting over a very tough start to the season."
