Sidibe reinjures achilles in training Stoke striker Mama Sidibe looks set for a long spell on the sidelines after he picked up what looks like a serious recurrence of the injury to his achilles in training. Sidibe has been out since the opening home game of the season after rupturing his achilles against Tottenham and only recently returned to full training. The Malian striker has played more games for City than any other current squad member, 187, but if the initial fears for this latest injury are confirmed then his Potters, and football, career will surely be threatened. 'Big Mama' has divided opinion amongst the Stoke support over the years but he has been a vital cog in the machine that has seen Stoke progress during his six seasons with the club. Stoke defender Ryan Shotton used his twitter account to leave the following message this afternoon 'Mama I can't have enough sympathy for you son, much love X'
