Pulis and Scholes work late into the night in attempt to bolster Potters squad Stoke manager Tony Pulis and chief executive Tony Scholes are still at the clubs Clayton Woods Training Complex as the last hour of the transfer window approaches. City have only done the one deal so far, selling Tuncay Sanli to Wolfsburg to £4.5m, but have Eidur Gudjohnsen in talks with Fulham. The Potters have been frantically searching all avenues in the search for new players today and a striker still remains high on boss Pulis' wish list, with Middlesbrough hitman Leroy Lita the main target after Cameron Jerome snubbed a move earlier, pledging himself to Birmingham, for the rest of the season at least. The last transfer window saw City sign winger Jermaine Pennant and striker Eidur Gudjohnsen in the last THIRTY SECONDS prior to the deadline.
