Potters' defence impresses Pulis

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis praised his team's defensive performance in their 2-0 home win against Bolton. Pulis told BBC Radio Stoke: "One or two players got injured so we've had to adjust, but the spirit was brilliant again and the clean sheet is pleasing. "We knew it was going to be a difficult game, because Bolton have been one of the form teams in the Premier League." Goals either side of half-time from James Beattie and Ricardo Fuller moved the Potters up to 15th in the table. The last time Stoke won a match by two clear goals was the 4-2 Championship victory over Wolves at Molineux on 9 February, 2008.
