Potters could spend again

Stoke chairman Peter Coates has not ruled out making more money available for new signings in January. Tony Pulis brought in Tuncay, Robert Huth, Danny Collins and Dean Whitehead in big-money moves over the summer in a bid to establish the Potters as a top-flight club for years to come. And Coates could give Pulis the green light to spend again when the window reopens in the new year. "We will obviously review the situation as we go along and we will see the best course of action when the time comes." he told the Sentinel. "The transfer market always remains an option when you are looking to improve like we are. "In saying that, however, we hopefully have a squad that is good enough for a good season. I certainly think we have done well in the summer transfer window."
