Potters boss eyeing new faces

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis has reiterated his intention to bolster his 'threadbare' Potters squad before the window closes.[LNB] Pulis has recruited Jonathan Woodgate on a free transfer this summer but is still on the hunt for new faces.[LNB]Stoke have been linked with a number of targets, including Peter Crouch, Cameron Jerome, Scott Dann and Wilson Palacios among others. [LNB]The latest name thought to be on their radar is out-of-favour Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner, who has stated his desire to leave Emirates Stadium. [LNB]Pulis knows the Potters must develop their recruitment drive and is determined to strengthen before the new season gets underway. [LNB]"We are threadbare - fingers crossed we can bring one or two players in," he told the Daily Star. [LNB]"The biggest thing we have to do is improve our recruitment from the lowest level right through to the top."
