Chris Porter's first-half strike was enough to earn Derby a 1-0 victory over Stoke in a pre-season friendly at Pride Park.[LNB] Porter was on hand to head home Kris Commons' cross in the eighth minute as the Rams - without injured duo Robbie Savage and Rob Hulse (both groin) - triumphed in their penultimate friendly ahead of the season-opener at Leeds on August 7.[LNB]Tuncay, who netted a hat-trick in the 6-0 victory at Newcastle Town on Saturday, came close to an equaliser for Stoke but they failed to force Rams goalkeeper Stephen Bywater into a save of any note.
