Who did you vote the Potters most important signing? The votes have been cast and now the results are in for who you voted Stoke City's most important summer signing. The six first team signings made before the transfer window slammed shut were all put up for the vote and the results were as follows: 1) Kenywne Jones - 37.8% - Trinidadian striker now stands as the clubs record signing after moving from Sunderland for £8m. Jones was the first major signing of the summer and his size and strength make him one of the most suited players to the target man role in football 2) Jermaine Pennant - 25.0% - Speedy winger who was a valuable addition as the Potters had just Jon Walters, Rory Delap and Dean Whitehead as right wing options before his deadline day arrival on loan 3) Eidur Gudjohnsen - 15.2% - A true marquee signing that will promote the Potters name thoughout world football as Gudjohnsen's reputation is known throughout Europe at the very least. He may not play every minute of every game but the impact he will make to the club could be much more than his own personal on field contribution 4) Marc Wilson - 13.4% 5) Jon Walters - 7.3% 6) Carlo Nash - 1.8%
