Which of the Potters strikes was the best last season? The Potters scored some outstanding goals during the last campaign, solo efforts, great strikes and team goals all involved. The poll has now been run to find the 'Goal of the Season 2010/11' and the results are as follows: 1) Jon Walters(1st) v Bolton(Wembley) - 24% - A superb solo goal as the striker took the ball off Robert Huth on the halfway line, held off Mark Davies right through to 25 yards from goal. the hitman then cut inside and curled a beauty round the keeper and into the bottom corner from well outside the box 2=) Ricardo Fuller v Birmingham(H) - 16% - Another superb solo effort from the magician. He picked the ball up out wide, used his burst of pace to fly down the wing before tricking his way in field, leaving the covering defender in his wake, before smashing the ball past the keeper into the Boothen End goal. 2=) Matthew Etherington v Spurs(A) - 16% - Winger picked up the ball inside his own half and drove at the defence.
