06 June 2010 12:54
Who was voted best opponent for last season? The Potters came up against some inspired performances this past season and now you have voted for who was the best opposition player. The top 3 are as follows: 3) Jody Craddock - 11.7% - Former Potter loanee netted twice in the 2-2 draw at the Brit to help Wolves come from 2-0 down at half time. Then had a very steady game in the return fixture, leaving Stoke with very few chances in a game that ended goalless. 2) Didier Drogba - 16.7% - Striker was a menace at the Brit as he scored the equaliser and generally had a great game, holding the ball up and bringing his teammates into the game. Also played in the 7-0 Chelsea win at the Bridge and although he didn't score he was still a thorn in the Potters defence, causing problems throughout and helping the champions to a crushing victory. 1) Joe Hart - 43.3% - Keeper was in inspirational form at the Brit in December, pulling off save after save to keep the Potters at bay and help Brum to a 1-0 win. This came after he also had a good game in the goalless draw at St. Andrews in August.
