No Britannia development yet

Stoke director Richard Smith has reaffirmed the club have "no immediate plans" to increase the capacity at the Britannia Stadium.[LNB] The ground, which opened in 1997, holds 28,384 but this has been reduced to 27,598 due to segregation since the Potters secured promotion to the Premier League in 2008.[LNB]Chairman Peter Coates said last week that there would be no expansion this summer and Smith has reitered that, telling BBC Radio Stoke: "We've made no secret of the fact we've been looking into the feasibility of expanding the stadium.[LNB]"At the moment we have no immediate plans to expand the stadium but we are giving it due consideration."[LNB]
