Marshall returns to Cumbrians

Stoke City winger Ben Marshall has returned to League One outfit Carlisle United for a second loan spell.[LNB] The 18-year-old, who will stay at Brunton Park until January 3, made 20 appearances for the Cumbrians during the second half of last season, scoring three goals.[LNB]Manager Greg Abbott said: "We know what Ben brings having had him for so long last season and we're delighted to be able to bring him back.[LNB]"The way we play football at the moment will suit him and he'll give us strength in depth.[LNB]"He's very focused and he'll come here to do well and we're really looking forward to working with him again."[LNB]Marshall joined Stoke from Crewe in the summer of 2009 after progressing through the youth ranks at Gresty Road, but has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Potters.[LNB]
