Leeds return interests Dickinson

Stoke defender Carl Dickinson admits he would be open to a second loan spell with Leeds. The 22-year-old left-back, who played seven matches for Simon Grayson's side last season, is seeking a temporary move away from the Britannia Stadium in order to play regular first-team football. And although he admits he has hopes of joining a Championship club, he refused to rule out a return to Elland Road. "If I'm not playing at Stoke, then I need to be playing somewhere, especially after a frustrating season last season," Dickinson told The Sentinel. "Hopefully the gaffer will let me go out and get a number of games under my belt." He added: "I'm not sure if Leeds are still interested but I believe a midfielder (Andy Hughes) is playing left-back there at the moment because of an injury. "I would love to play in the Championship but of course I would be interested in Leeds again. Everyone can see what they are doing in League One and, if something was to happen there, hopefully I can be a part of it."
